OUR STORY
Kevin Nguyen is the founder of Nguyen's Kitchen & Sushi Bar. He was born in Hue, Vietnam and his family escaped in 1984 by a handmade wooden boat to Thailand then to the Philippines and finally arrived in San Diego, California in 1987. Kevin's family has reached the land of freedom.
As a young boy he learned Vietnamese cooking from his mother and continued to be a well-trained sushi chef. His talented cooking skills and creative mind combines Vietnamese, Japanese and American ingredients, making it one of the most unique combinations ever offered to the public.
Kevin and his staff would like to thank you for being Nguyen's patrons. We are always looking to improve and for guests to have the best experience at Nguyen's.
